N. PROVIDENCE, RI... Mary Ann McFarland, 69, of Fall River passed away October 25, 2016. She was born in Pittsburgh PA, the daughter of the late Howard L. and Mary E. (Weaver) McFarland. She was a graduate of Peabody High School in Pittsburg, PA. She was employed as a secretary for the Salvation Army Fall River Post retiring in June 2006 after 36 years. Mary Ann was commissioned as a Salvation Army Officer in June 1971. She loved her cat, enjoyed reading, puzzles and was very dedicated to young people’s ministries.
Survivors include her sister Elizabeth A. McFarland.
Funeral Service to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Thursday October 27th at
11 AM at Salvation Army, Bedford Street, Fall River followed by burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Fall River. Calling hours from 10 - 11 AM. In lieu of Flowers donations may be made to the Salvation Army, P.O. Box 444, Fall River, MA 02722
