William David Morgans of Olyphant died Saturday at Lackawanna Health & Rehabilitation Center, Sturges. He was married to Virginia Morgans for 55 years until she died on Feb. 9.
Born in Peckville, on Nov. 16, 1933, son of the late William David and Sadie Myrick Morgans, William was a 1951 graduate of Olyphant High School. William was an Army veteran and served in the Korean War. He was employed with Eureka Printing Co., Scranton, before his retirement.
Surviving are a son, Bill Morgans, Olyphant; daughter-in-law, Phyllis Cetta, Scranton; sister-in-law, Lois Phillips; and five grandchildren.
He was also predeceased by a stepson, Bob Cetta.
Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Michael P. Glinsky Funeral Home Inc., 129 Grant St., Olyphant.
