Herbert M. McCoy, 60, of New Bedford died Friday October 21, 2016 after a long illness.
Born in Acushnet, the son of the late Eugene and Alice McCoy, he lived in New Bedford for all of his life.
Herbert was employed as an electrical engineer for various regional companies, most recently BSC Industries, Inc. He enjoyed all things automotive and rooting for the New England Patriots.
Survivors include three children, William McCoy, Gloria Medeiros, and Henry McCoy; two grandchildren, Kamdyn and Ryder Medeiros; two brothers, Eugene and Peter McCoy; and several nieces and nephews.
