Maynard, Beverly A. (Roche) of Hull, Massachusetts, formerly of Dedham and Norwood, MA passed away suddenly on October 21, 2016. Beverly was the loving mother of Kevin R. Maynard of Glendale, California and Kristin A. Maynard of Green Harbor, MA. She was the former wife of Robert A. Maynard of Green Harbor. She was the daughter of the late John P. and Ellen F. Roche of Dedham, sister of Charlene Levangie and her husband Peter of Dedham, John P. Roche, Jr. and his wife, Ann of Trabuco Canyon, California and Richard J. Roche and his wife, Jane of Hopkinton, MA. She was the loving grandmother of Cosette P. Maynard of Glendale, CA and Aunt to many nieces and nephews.
Beverly was born on May 24, 1939 in Boston MA. She attended Dedham High School and Fisher Junior College and worked as an administrative assistant at Children’s Hospital, Boston, MA for several years and held many other positions over the years. Most recently she worked for the town of Hull in the Department of Health and the Senior Center.
Beverly loved the Red Sox and the Patriots and was a devoted fan who never missed a game. She loved playing mahjong with her friends in Hull, walking the boardwalk on Nantasket Beach and sitting on her balcony enjoying the beautiful view of the ocean and Boston Harbor. She was a faithful member of St. Mary’s of the Assumption Parish in Hull.
Visitation hours will be at the George F. Doherty & Sons Wilson-Cannon Funeral Home, 456 High St., Dedham, MA on Monday, October 24, 2016 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 25, 2016 at 11:00 am at St. Mary’s of the Assumption, 208 Samoset Ave., Hull, MA. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Interment will be private. Donations may be made in Beverly’s memory to the Hull Senior Center, 197A Samoset Ave., Hull MA 02045.
