Lena M. “Lee” Puleo passed away peacefully at the Life Care Center of Stoneham. She was 91. A life-long resident of Boston’s North End, she was the daughter of the late Salvatore and Carmella (Venezia) Puleo. Lee worked until her retirement at the Stop and Shop Bakery in the North End. She was an independent and hard working woman who enjoyed the company of her large devoted family.
The dear sister of Josephine Sacoco of Medford and Stoneham and Larry Puleo of Medford, she is predeceased by her siblings: Betty Ryder, Gus Puleo, Anthony Puleo, Etta Pericotti, Lucy Giammanco, and Salvatore Puleo. Lee is also survived by many loving and devoted nieces and nephews and their families.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, on Sunday, October 23 from 1 - 4 PM concluding with a prayer service at 4 PM. Burial will be private.
