Audrey A. (Lawrence) Pont, 91, formerly of Stonington passed away Saturday, October 15, 2016 at Mystic Healthcare.
Mrs. Pont was born in the Caribbean Islands on January 15, 1925 the daughter of Louis and Lino (Jomes) Lawrence. Prior to her retirement she was employed at the Ramada Inn and Sheffield Tube Co. After her retirement, she worked in the Stonington High School cafeteria. Mrs. Pont was a member of the Old Mystic Methodist Church.
She was married to Jeal J. Pont who predeceased her in 2002.
She is survived by a stepdaughter, Bonnie Jean Canova of Norwich, 2 step grandchildren and 4 step great grandchildren, and her nieces. She was predeceased by her siblings.
A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, November 2, at 11:00am at Stonington Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Old Mystic Methodist Church.
