Beth Fields, 52, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Monday, August 8, 2005, at her residence.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, August 12, 2005, at the Paulk Funeral Home Chapel, Fitzgerald, with the Rev. Emory Champion officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 7:00 to 9:00 Thursday evening at the funeral home.
Mrs. Fields was born on March 13, 1953 to the late Edward and Lucinda Ricks Ross. She lived in the community for the past twenty years and was a former resident of Evans County, Jenkins County and Mitchell County. Mrs. Fields was a former employee of Irwin Manufacturing and Champion Manufacturing Corporation. She was a member of the First Assembly Of God and a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
Mrs. Fields is survived by her husband, Richard C. Fields of Fitzgerald; daughter, Martha (Richard) Giffin of Irwin County; sons, Bo (Michelle) Medlin of Fitzgerald, Wesley (Mary) Medlin of Thomas County, Edward (Angie) Medlin of Claxton, Robert Medlin and Mike Fields, both of Fitzgerald; thirteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; brother, Robert Ross of Fitzgerald. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Brenda Medlin and a brother, Levon Bynum.
