EAST BRIDGEWATER - Jeannette C. (Charpentier) Lavoie, 70, of East Bridgewater died Tuesday, Aug. 9, 2005, at her home after a lengthy illness. She was the wife of Armand M. Lavoie.
Born Aug. 2, 1935, in West Warwick, RI, she was the daughter of the late Leodore and Julienne (Duhaime) Charpentier.
Mrs. Lavoie grew up in Coventry, RI, and had been a resident of East Bridgewater for the past 42 years.
Mrs. Lavoie was a member of St. John Church, where she sang in the choir and was a member of the St. John’s Women’s Guild.
She was an avid golfer and gardener, loved music and singing, and was a seamstress.
In addition to her husband, Armand, she is survived by her children, Mark A. Lavoie of Juniper, FL., Collette J. Saja of Dracut, Monique C. Kuzmich of Nashua, NH, and Jeannine L. Lavoie of Dracut; her grandchildren, Matthew and Jennifer Saja and Justine Kuzmich; her brothers, Leodore Charpentier Jr. of West Warwick, RI, Normand Charpentier of West Greenwich, RI, and Raymond Charpentier of Costa Mesa, CA.; and several nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be held from the Wales-Prophett Funeral Home, 35 Spring St., East Bridgewater, Saturday at 9:15 am., followed by a funeral Mass in St. John Church, East Bridgewater, at 10 am. Burial in Central Cemetery.
