Obituary

Mr. Paul E. Marsan Jr., 87, of Methuen passed away Thursday at the Mary Immaculate Nursing and Restorative Center. The son of the late Paul and Blanche (LaPlante) Marsan Sr., he was born and raised in Lawrence. Mr. Marsan served honorably in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was a former employee of Park Porsche and Audi where he worked in the body shop, and was a retired employee of the town of Methuen where he worked at the Town Highway Yard, and the Water Treatment Plant. Mr. Marsan was a member of the Salem NH Veterans of Foreign Wars post 8546, he enjoyed NASCAR, New England Sports, but most of all he loved to spend time with his family. Mr. Marsan is survived by his loving wife Edna (Bolduc) Marsan of Methuen, four daughters; Elaine and her husband Gene Goodwin of Windham, NH, Phyllis and her husband Edwin Leczynski of Dracut, Janet and her husband Eric Wunderlich of Methuen and Lynn and her husband David Skinner of Northboro, MA. Two sons; Paul Marsan and his wife Justine of Methuen, and Alfred Marsan and his wife Laurie of Dracut. One brother Richard Marsan and his wife Betty of Methuen. He had nine grandchildren; Shanna and her husband James Guerriero, Derrick Marsan and his companion Krista Bagnulo, Justin Marsan and his wife Yashmin, Kyle Marsan, Stacee Marsan, Leah Wunderlich, Hannah Wunderlich, Christopher Skinner, and Kimberly Skinner. Six great grandchildren; Tyler, Corey, Aubrey, Quinn, Jaxson, and Cole. Family and friends are invited to call on Sunday from 4:00pm to 7:00pm at Edgar J. Racicot Inc. Funeral Home, 1400 Broadway Rd, Dracut. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday at 12:00pm at St. Theresa Church in Methuen, entombment will follow in Immaculate Conception Mausoleum.
