Brian D. McGorry
Brian D. McGorry of Manchester, NH passed away at Massachusetts General Hospital on October 9, 2016. He was born on August 12, 1955, the son of Joan C. McGorry (Donahue) and the late Robert D. McGorry. He attended Manchester High School West.
Brian enjoyed his membership in the bowling league at King's Bowling Lanes and working the NASCAR races at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. He loved football and baseball, especially the NE Patriots and the Boston Red Sox. He was a baseball and soccer coach, a Cub Scout Leader and the former Vice President of the Booster Club for Celebrity Cheerleading.
Brian is survived by his children Brian "BJ" McGorry II, Shelbi McGorry and Brandon McGorry, all of Manchester, his incredible mother, Joan McGorry, his sister, Lynn Normand and her husband Jim, sister, MaryEllen "Beab" McGorry and her partner, Debra Drumm; brother, Sean McGorry and his wife, Linda, brother in law Shawn Dimick, his Aunts Irene "Jackie" Betts and Patricia Donahue, nieces and nephews Peter Normand and Justin Normand, Kyle McGorry and his partner Christina Bessette, Megan McGorry and her partner, Eric Beaulieu; Katherine and Gabi Drumm-Schwartz and his great nieces, Hannah Grace and Stella Joan Beaulieu, and his great nephew Thomas McGorry. He was predeceased by his sister Joan McGorry Dimick.
Calling hours will be on Friday from 5 to 8 pm at J. N. Boufford & Sons Funeral Home, 110 Bridge St.
A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 10 AM in St. Raphael Church, Walker St.
Committal prayers will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bedford.
