Woonsocket
Rene L. Gaulin 61, of Bertenshaw Rd. died October 10, 2016 at home. Born in North Kingstown, he was a son of the late Alfred E. Gaulin and Therese (Hudon) Oberzol. Rene was supported by Avatar Residential for many years. He will be greatly missed by his housemates and staff. Rene loved his radios and balloons, and had a great sense of humor.
He is survived by a sister Denise Keith of Woonsocket, a niece Nicole and a nephew Michael. He was also the brother of the late Paul and Norman Gaulin.
His funeral with visitation will be held Thursday at 9:00 AM from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 463 South Main St. Woonsocket, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM in St. Agatha’s Church, Joffre Ave. Woonsocket. Burial will follow in St. Charles Cemetery in Blackstone.
