Susan (O'Donnell) Braley, 49, of Mattapoisett died August 4, 2005 unexpectedly from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
She was the wife of the late Eli G. Braley, III.
Born in New Bedford, the daughter of the late Dr. John and Ita (Murphy) O'Donnell, she lived in Mattapoisett most of her life.
Mrs. Braley was a communicant of St. Anthony's Church in Mattapoisett.
She was happily employed by Carter's Clothing in New Bedford for many years.
Mrs. Braley enjoyed riding her horse, Ned's Point Lighthouse, being at the beach, boating and most of all, spending time with her 3 children.
Survivors include 2 sons, Eli G. Braley, IV and Adam L. Braley, both of Mattapoisett; a daughter, Amy E. Braley of Mattapoisett; 2 brothers, John O'Donnell, and his wife Claudia, of Oakland, CA and Peter O'Donnell, and his wife Catherine, of Mattapoisett; a sister, Kathleen Saunders, and her husband Robert, of Mattapoisett; several nieces, nephews, cousins and 2 aunts.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass in St. Anthony's Church, Mattapoisett, Tuesday, August 9th at 10 AM.
Visiting hours in the Saunders-Dwyer Mattapoisett Home For Funerals, 50 County Rd. (Rt. 6) Mattapoisett Monday, August 8th from 5-8 PM.
Interment St. Mary's Cemetery.
