Funeral Service in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Monday at 12 noon. Burial in the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne at 1:45 pm. Visitation one hour prior to Service 11 am to 12 noon.
Obituary
Edwin E. Wild, Sr., 76 years, died at the VA Medical Center in Brockton after a period of failing health. Born and raised in Brockton, son of the late Eric and Elsie Mabel (Wright) Wild. He served in the Navy at the end of WW II. He was a drummer and musician in Brockton and surrounding towns for many years. Former employee of Randy Shoe and many years of Avon Sole and Murry Carver as a blacksmith.
He loved sports and the Red Sox.
He is survived by his wife, Jean L. (Soucy) Wild, his children, Douglas E. Wild of Brockton, Kevin D. Wild of Virginia , Laure A. Vassall, Daniel P. Liolios, Janet L. Beddia and Edwin E. Wild, III all of Brockton and many grandchildren.
