Devoted father of Karen McCormick of Washington D.C., Stephen McCormick and his wife Colleen of Medfield, Brian McCormick and his wife Malgorzata of Holliston, Robert D. McCormick Jr. and his wife Maura of Falmouth, and Paul McCormick of Needham. Grandfather of Mark, Patrick, Michael, Kasia, Erin, Kimberly, and Brian.
Bob was a manager for N.E. Telephone for 38 years and a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America. He was Past President of the Needham Exchange Club and Past President and current “Dock Master” of the Old Stone Dock Association of Falmouth. Korean Conflict Veteran, United Staes Marine Corps.
Funeral from the George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home, 1305 Highland Ave., NEEDHAM, Monday, Sept. 26 at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Joseph Church, Needham at 10am. Interment in Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne at 12:45pm. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Visiting hours at the funeral home Sunday, Sept. 25 from 2-6pm.
