June K. Cleveland, 78, of Mattapoisett died August 3, 2005 at home after long illness.
She was the wife of the late Elbridge G. Cleveland, Jr.
Mrs. Cleveland was born in Hyannis, the daughter of the late Clifton and Lorraine (Dexter) Kelley, she was raised in Mattapoisett and lived in Portland, Maine before retiring to Mattapoisett in 1987.
She was a member of the Mattapoisett Congregational Church and a former member of the Maconchu Club, the Women's Guild, the Couples Club all at her church.
Mrs. Cleveland was a graduate of Fairhaven High School. She was formerly employed as a teacher's aide while living in Portland, Maine.
She was a former member of the Mattapoisett Womens Club and Literature Group and the Pine Island Cemetery Board. Mrs. Cleveland was the proud owner of her Golden Retriever "Misty" and a member of the American Kennel Club.
Survivors include a daughter, Randi Harding and her husband Brett of Mattapoisett; her good friend, Lena Malone of Dartmouth; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Service at the Mattapoisett Congregational Church, Friday, August 5th at 10 AM.
