Obituary

A. Ralph Pullo, 72, of Marion died August 3, 2005 at the New Bedford Jewish Convalescent Home after complications from a stroke after heart bypass surgery.
He was husband of the late Margaret (Crowley) Pullo and former husband of the late Pamela (Black) Hay.
Born in Medford, the son of the late Joseph and Grace (Devereaux) Pullo, he lived in Marion most of his life.
He was a 1951 graduate of Lawrence Academy and 1955 graduate of Boston College.
Mr. Pullo was formerly employed as an insurance broker with the Hughes Insurance for many years until his recent retirement.
He served in the U.S. Navy with the Navy SEALS before retiring as Commander. He had served aboard the U.S.S. J. Hutchins, the U.S.S. Price, and the U.S.S. Turkey.
Mr. Pullo enjoyed boating and was a longtime New England Patriots fan.
Survivors include a son, Timothy J. Pullo of Marion; two daughters, Catherine D. Pullo of Plymouth and Anne E. O'Donnell, and her husband Jeffrey, of Dorchester; his companion, Jane Smith of New Bedford; and two grandchildren, Margaret Pullo and Katelyn LeBrun.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Service in the Saunders-Dwyer Mattapoisett Home for Funerals, 50 County Rd. (Rt. 6), Mattapoisett, Monday, August 8th at 1 PM. Visiting hours Sunday, August 7th from 4-7 PM.
Burial with Military Honors will be in the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne.
