WEBSTER – Donald H. Faraday, 81, of 28 Normandy Avenue, died Tuesday, August 2, at home after an illness.
He leaves his wife of 55 years, Myrtle G. (Basins) Faraday; a son, Michael D. Faraday of Auburn; a daughter, Nancy A. Morgan and her husband Bruce of Webster; 4 grandchildren, Michael P. Faraday, Josephine Thibedau, Donna J. Hogan, and Brian Willard; 4 great grandchildren, Andrew, Katherine, Emily and Mason; nephews and nieces.
He was born in East Killingly, CT, a son of Henry W. and Gladys I. (Mason) Faraday, and lived in Webster most of his life. He was an Army veteran of World War II.
Mr. Faraday built large cable machines and was a vice president at Astro Wire and Cable in Worcester for many years, retiring in 1986.
The funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, August 5, in Scanlon Funeral Service, East Main Street. Burial will be in Mount Zion Cemetery. A calling period will be from 10:00 to 11:00 AM Friday at the funeral home.
