Robert A. Leriche Sr. age 81 of Salem, NH, died Wednesday at the Merrimack Valley Hospital, Haverhill, Massachusetts
He was born in Salem, NH, where he was a life long resident and attended school.
Mr. Leriche was a self employed contractor, and built many houses in Salem, NH. He was the oldest person in New Hampshire to hold his Master Electrician and Plumbers License. He has previously worked for Western Electric. Mr. Leriche was a US Army veteran, serving in World War II, where he received the Purple Heart. He was a Life Member of the VFW Salem Memorial Post 8546, a member of the First Congregational Church, and the Salem Contractors Association. He enjoyed square and round dancing, camping and his biggest love was spending time with his family.
He was predeceased by a brother Arnold Leriche

Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 6, 2005 at 10 AM at the Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main Street, Salem, NH. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Salem, NH.
Calling hours will be held Thursday, August 4, from 6-8 PM and Friday, August 5, 2005 from 3-5 & 7-9 PM at the Funeral Home.
