Joseph P. Connetti, 73, died Saturday at his home in Florida He was the husband of Alice M. (Costigan) Connetti.
Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Joseph & Anna (Esposito) Connetti. He had been a resident of Florida for the past 11 years and had previously lived in Scituate. He had owned and operated the former Connetti’s Trailer Sales in Cranston for 28 years before retiring in 1996.
Besides his wife, he is survived by three daughters, Dian J. Rekrut of Cranston, Donna M. Ciccarelli of Washington, DC and Denise A. Tavalaiccio of NC, four sons, Stephen A. Connetti of Port Charlotte, FL, David J. Connetti of Scituate, Wayne P. Connetti of Cranston, and Mark A. Connetti of NC, three sisters, Marie Notarinni of Cranston, Ann Cabral and Carol Hall both of Greenville, a brother, Donald Connetti of Greenville, 11 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
His funeral will be held on Wednesday, August 3 at 8:30am from the ANDERSON-WINFIELD Funeral Home, Rt.44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9:30am in St. Philip Church, 622 Putnam Pike, Smithfield. Burial will be in St. Ann’s Cemetery, Cranston. Visitation Tuesday 4-8pm.
