Joe Ann (Anderson) Poe, 90, of Anderson died September 9, 2016 at Bethany Pointe Health Campus after a brief illness.
She was born April 23, 1926 in Indianapolis to John and Mary Anne (Sharp) Anderson.
She was a homemaker.
Survivors include her daughter, Kris Polak and her son, Donald (Hanna) Poe; grandchildren, David (Stephanie) Poe, Matt (Beth) Poe, Russel (Natasha) Polak, III; Nicholas Polak; great grandchildren, Eli, Allison, Kayla, Carson and Grace;
two step grandchildren, Seth (Arika) Estep and Michelle (Justin) Harrison; step-great grandchildren, Riley, Austin, Corbin and Emmett.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Robert Bruce Poe and her sister, Jean Young.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, September 14 at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Pastor Mark Alshire of Perkinsville Community Church officiating. Entombment will follow at Elm Ridge Cemetery in Muncie.
Visitation will be two hours prior to the service on Wednesday.
