Zena (Danisewicz) McDonald 94, a long-time resident of the Methuen area, died Wednesday the 7th of September at Ashland Farm, North Andover.
Zena was born in 1921 in Lawrence, MA, where she grew up and was educated. She graduated from Lawrence High School.
Zena was a homemaker. She loved good food and spending time with family. Her all-time favorite was going to the beach and coming home to watch Lawrence Welk. She had a wonderful smile that could light up a room. Her favorite quote was "It's a Wonderful Life".
Zena was predeceased by her husband Vincent L. McDonald and her daughter Edith J. McDonald.
Zena is survived by her son, two granddaughters and two great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Monday, Sept. 12th from 4-7 PM at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence St, Methuen, MA.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, Sept. 13th at 10 AM at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Mt. Auburn Cemetery, Cambridge, MA.
