Thomas F. Mills, 89, of Anderson, died September 3, 2016 at Countryside Manor after an extended illness.
Tom was born October 6, 1926 the son of Orde and Pearl Mills.
He was a fork truck driver for Cabet 13.5 years and a farmer.
He farmed for years and loved being a clown. His clown name was "I.B. Special". He was a member of the Elvis Fan Club and loved camping.
Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Charlotte (Alexander) Mills whom he married December 4, 1970 in Frankton; three children, Carma (Danny) Hinds, of FL; Bob (Donna) Stapleton of FL and Robin (Lynn) Spangler of Anderson; eleven grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Graveside service will be 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, September 8 at K. of P. I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Frankton with Pastor Dan Alexander of First Church of the Nazarene in Martinsville officiating.
Private family visitation will be held.
