Simmons Sr. of West Bridgewater and the late Betty (Boudreau) Simmons, brother of Kathleen Murphy of West Bridgewater, father of Colleen Simmons and her husband Robert Simms of Middleboro, Kathryn and Meghan Simmons of Kingston, grandfather of Savannah, Serenity and D’Marius Simms, and fiancé of Catherine Smith of West Bridgewater and her daughter Sherri Smith, and a dear friend Denise Bailey of Middleboro.
Following cremation a celebration of his life will be held at the Enterprise Club, 224 Clinton St., Brockton, on Saturday August 13, 2005 from 1-5pm. Arrangements by Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street, Brockton.
Carl W. Simmons, Jr. 48 years, died unexpectedly Monday July 25, 2005, in West Bridgewater. Born in Stoughton, he was the son of Carl W. Simmons, Sr. and the late Betty (Boudreau) Simmons. He was raised in West Bridgewater and attended West Bridgewater High School. He had been employed as a driver for Garber Brothers in Randolph and Carney Brothers in Raynham for many years. He enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting, cruises and caring for his cat Thomas. He was a former member of the Rod and Gun Club.
He is survived by his father Carl W. Simmons, Sr. of West Bridgewater, his sister Kathleen Murphy of West Bridgewater, three daughters Colleen Simmons and her husband Robert Simms of Middleboro, Kathryn and Meghan Simmons of Kingston, two granddaughters Savannah and Serenity Simms and one grandson D’Marius Simms, fiancé Catherine Smith of West Bridgewater and her daughter Sherri Smith, many aunts, uncles, cousins and a dear friend Denise Bailey of Middleboro.
