
Deborah A. Panciera died peacefully at Yale New Haven Hospital on August 23 at the age of 59 after suffering a stroke.
Debbie was born July 31, 1957 in New London, CT. She graduated from Fitch High School.
In January she retired from General Dynamics Electric Boat after working there for many years. Debbie was a very caring and compassionate person with a gentle soul who loved her family and friends. She enjoyed sailing, visiting Block Island and being outdoors.
Debbie was also a talented artist.
Debbie is survived by her sister, Janice Panciera, of Adamstown, MD; nieces and nephews and her beloved dog Sofie.
She was preceded in death by her parents Eliseo and Marjorie Panciera of Mystic, brother Robert Panciera of Huntsville, AL and sister Nancy Sylvester of Sebastian, FL.
She is gone too soon and will be missed by so many.
Debbie’s family will greet relatives and friends on Monday, August 29, from 10:30am to 12:30pm at the Dinoto Funeral Home, 17 Pearl Street, Mystic. Burial will follow at 1:00pm in Elm Grove Cemetery, Mystic.
