Obituary

Norman R. “Bud” Dillman 84, a resident of Braintree for 50 years died on Wednesday July 27, 2005. Born in Somerville, Norman graduate from Somerville High School in 1939. During and after High School he worked as a milkman before enlisting in the service. A U.S. Army Veteran during WWII he served with the 26th infantry where he received a purple heart at the Battle of the Bulge. Norman was also a Disabled American Veteran. After the war he moved to Braintree and was a milkman for Whiting”s Milk for many years. Norman later went to work for Shaw’s Auto Rental in Braintree. Norman was the beloved husband of the late Frances (Hayes) who died in 1992. He is survived by his sister Katherine Gallant of Needham and is also survived by his nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews. Funeral services will be held at the Eaton Funeral Home 1351 Highland Ave Needham on Sat. July 30th at 11:00 AM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Visiting hours Sat morning from 10-11. Interment Blue Hill Cemetery in Braintree. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Heart Assoc. 20 Speen St. Framingham MA 01701.
