Obituary

Carol J. (Woodward) Pasquantonio, 88, a lifelong resident of Franklin, died Monday, August 22, 2016 at the Medway Country Manor. She was the beloved wife of Fredrick F. Pasquantonio who died in 1996.

Born in Quincy on June 5, 1928, she was a daughter of the late Hosea and Mary (Tucker) Woodward.

Mrs. Pasquantonio graduated from Dedham High School in 1946 and Dean Junior College in 1949.

Before her retirement, she worked as a dietician and cook at the Franklin High School and previously at the St. Mary School in Franklin for many years.

Mrs. Pasquantonio was a member of St. Mary Catholic Women’s Club and enjoyed attending the annual St. Rocco’s Festival. She also enjoyed family trips to Las Vegas, Atlantic City and Foxwoods.

She is survived by her son Samuel Pasquantonio and his wife Paula of Franklin and grandchildren, the late David Pasquantonio, Paul Pasquantonio and Toni Pasquantonio both of Franklin.

She is also survived by a cousin Priscilla Larochelle, who she considered her sister, of Wrentham and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her three siblings, Robert Pound, Beverly Motley and Mary Jane Hanzlik.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a calling hour on Thursday, August 25 from 8:30 – 9:30 a.m. in the Ginley Funeral Home of Franklin, 131 Main St. (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com) followed by a funeral Mass at St. Mary Church in Franklin at 10 a.m.

Burial will follow in the parish cemetery.
