David Emerson Pynn, 63, passed away on August 15, 2016, surrounded in love by family and friends. David is survived by his loving wife of nineteen years Cheryl Pynn, sister Katharine Taylor and her husband Michael Taylor of Rhode Island, sister Constance Pynn and her husband Ken Lippard of Texas, sister-in-laws Cynthia Dedora and Christina Dedora of Rhode Island and five nieces and one nephew; Tara, Brian, Tanya, Tasha, Erin and Kelsey.
David was a Chef for many years working at restaurants located in Boston, Cambridge, Miami and The Hamptons where he rubbed elbows with the likes of Julia Child and Jacques Pepin and created meals for guests such as Truman Capote, Mohammed Ali and the Kennedy family. After retiring from the Restaurant Business, David settled on Cape Cod with the love of his life Cheryl. David became an avid technology geek, creating his own computer business, Pyndora Systems. David was also a past member of The Dennis Yarmouth Kiwanis. David loved music, computers and movies and had an incredible sense of humor along with an insatiable thirst for knowledge.
Friends and family are invited to attend a Celebration of David’s Life on September 18, 2016, 2:00 p.m. at David and Cheryl’s home.
