Henry “Fred” Parks, 65, of Tifton passed away Monday, August 22, 2016, at Golden Living Center in Tifton. A graveside funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, August 26, 2016, at Hickory Springs Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Tifton, where he will be laid to rest. The Rev. Joseph L. Crumley will officiate. The family will receive friends Friday, August 26, 2016, from 12:30 p.m. until the hour of the service at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Born November 2, 1950 in Berrien County, Mr. Parks was the son of the late Robert C. Parks and Ruby Clyde Conger Parks. He was also preceded in death by five brothers and two sisters. He was formerly employed at Pioneer Housing in Fitzgerald and of the Baptist faith.
Mr. Parks is survived by a son, Jason Parks of Ocilla; a brother, Norman Parks of Tifton; and a sister, Linda Daley of Sycamore.
