Richard F. Marzino died on Wednesday, August 17, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital of Medford. A lifelong Medford resident, he was the son of the late Mario and Marie (Margotte) Marzino. Richard proudly served in the U.S. Army, after which he returned to Medford and worked as a plasterer.
Richard was the beloved husband of the late Irene (DeAngelo) Marzino, and the devoted father of Marie Nardone and her husband Steve of Winchester, Richard Marzino Jr. of Medford, Irene Gesnaldo and her husband Frank of Melrose, and Mark Marzino of Medford. He was the loving grandfather of Kristina, Stephen, Matthew, Nina, Ava and Santina, the brother of Albert Marzino of Stoneham, and the late Mary Galante and Jane Arena. Richard is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford on Saturday, August 20, at 9AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Francis of Assisi Church, 441 Fellsway West, Medford, at 10AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Friday, August 19, from 4 through 8PM. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
