Mason, Thelda M. (Thompson), 89, of Louisville went to be with her Lord Monday, August 15, 2016. She was a loving person & cherished by all.
Thelda was a member of South Jefferson Baptist Church and was a retired cashier at Wal-Mart which she enjoyed very much.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 73 years, Edward L. Mason; two sisters, Edith Thompson & Edna Berry; a brother, Chester “Junior” Thompson.
Survivors include her two children, Sharon “Sherry” Whitworth (Dave), Garry Mason & Kathy Swinnigan (Steve) which she loved like a daughter; four grandchildren, Shannon Lazas (Ron JR.), Tina Bryant, Sheryl Redmon (David) & Tiffany Smallback (David); nine great grandchildren & four great great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 A.M. Saturday at Owen Funeral Home 5317 Dixie Hwy. with private entombment in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be 2:00 – 8:00 P.M. Friday.
