WEBSTER - Dorothy R. (Shepard) Donovan, 83, of 3 Cedar Drive, died Tuesday, July 26, in Hubbard Regional Hospital. Her husband of 32 years, Thomas F. Donovan, Sr., died in 1974.
She leaves a son, Thomas F. Donovan, Jr., and his wife Marianne of Fort Lauderdale, FL; 3 sisters, Theresa M. Reich and Irene A. Bacovin, both of Webster, and Norma A. Taberski of Thompson, CT; a sister-in-law, Irene Shepard of Thompson, CT; nieces and nephews.
She was born in Webster, a daughter of Frank and Marie (Daniels) Shepard. She graduated from Bartlett High School in 1939, having studied the classical course.
Mrs. Donovan was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Louis Church, the St. Louis League of Catholic Women, and the PAV Auxiliary.
The funeral will be held Saturday, July 30, from the Sitkowski & Malboeuf Funeral Home, 340 School St., with a Mass at 10:00 AM in St. Louis Church, 14 Lake St. Burial will be private. A calling hour will be from 8:15 to 9:15 AM Saturday at the funeral home. Donations may be made to St. Louis School Endowment Fund, 15 Lake St., Webster, MA 01570
