Florence R. Wysocki, age 75 of Medford MA, died Tuesday at her daughter’s house in Lowell after a lengthy illness.
Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Katherine (Baj) Dombek. Mrs. Wysocki married the late Henry S. Wysocki on September 25, 1949. They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on September 25, 1999.
She was a Homemaker, after high school she was employed by John Hancock Life Ins. Co. for 10 years, as a clerk. Florence attended Cambridge Latin High School, then moved to Medford in 1943, and graduated from Medford High School in 1944. Florence was a Medford resident for the past 57 years.
She is survived by her daughter Ann L. Gibbons and her husband Keith of Lowell, son Alan H. Wysocki and his wife Maria of Strafford, NH, formerly of Medford. Grandmother of Katherine Wysocki, Bobby and Eric Gibbons. Sister of the late Wanda Kayros and Ann Alkonis. Aunt of Robert Kayros of New Jersey. Also survived by many dear relatives and friends throughout the greater Boston area.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD, Friday at 8 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Clement Church, 71 Warner St., Medford/Somerville at 9 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Thursday 2-4 and 7-9. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
