Kathleen R. Borden, a lifelong resident of Charlestown, entered into eternal life on Friday, July 29, 2016 at Care One Nursing Facility in Lowell following a lengthy illness. She was 56 years of age.
Kathleen was born in Boston on January 15, 1960, a daughter of the late Kenneth "Pat" Borden and Margaret (Connell) Borden. She grew up in Charlestown where she was educated at St. Francis De Sales and St. Mary's Parochial schools, and graduated from Charlestown High School. Kathleen first worked as a clerk for Capital Bank and then later as an Administrative Assistant for Fidelity Investments. Kathleen loved animals and was most passionate about photography.
Kathleen is the loving daughter of the late Kenneth "Pat" Borden and Margaret (Connell) Borden. She is the beloved sister of Lisa Fidler of Florida, Patrick Borden of Norton, Nancy Harrison of Andover, Mary Santiago of Taunton, and the late Patrice Borden, and Michael Borden. She is also survived by several loving nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Kathleen's visiting hours on Friday, August 5, 2016 from 4 to 8 P.M. with her Funeral Service at 7:30 P.M. in The Carr Funeral Home, 220 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown. Her burial is private.
