Doreen “Doe” Merlino (Lydon) of South Boston passed away on July 26, 2016 at the age of 58. Loving mother of Sarah Merlino-Walsh. Beloved Nana of Patrick “Paddy” and Emma Grace. Devoted soulmate of Thomas Keane. Cherished daughter of the late Joseph F. & Mary Lydon. Loving sister of Barbara Joyce and her husband Joseph, Joseph F. Lydon and his late wife Janet, Joyce Lydon and her late husband Michael, and Candi Lydon. Dear aunt of Michele Pizarro, Joseph Joyce, Kellie Wallace, Joseph F. Lydon III, Nicole Laflamme, Kellie Mullen, Bridget Lydon, Joseph Lydon, Marc Brenton and Samantha Shiner and a cherished great-aunt to many. She is also lovingly survived by numerous extended family members and countless friends.
A memorial mass will be held on Monday August 1, 2016 at 10 a.m.
