STANDISH- Charles B. Perry of Watchic Lake in Standish passed away July 28th 2016 at home with his loved ones after a long battle with Alzheimer's. He was born in Westbrook Aug 28th 1929 the son of Thomas and Beatrice (Andrews) Perry.
He graduated from Westbrook High School. He then served in the Air Force during the Korean War. In 1957 he met and married the love of his life Josie (Wood) Perry. The rest of his working career he was a dedicated employee at the S.D. Warren paper mill for 41 years. After his retirement He and Josie enjoyed boating and jets skiing at their home on Watchic lake and wintering in their beautiful home in Winter Haven Florida.
Charles was predeceased by his wife of 47 years Josie and his sister Irene. He was survived by his brother Harry Perry of Westbrook, His sister Alma Smyth of Westbrook, His son Thomas Perry and his wife Diane of Standish. His daughter Charlene Young and husband Scott of Steep Falls. His Grandchildren Jen, Miranda, Jason, Richard, Kenneth, Charlie, and Raegan and 8 great grandchildren. And finally his faithful companion his beloved dog Kody.
