Worcester: Rita M. (Brazeau) Moulin, 89, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 23, 2016 in the Overlook Masonic Health Center in Charlton. She is survived by her daughter Gloria Butler (fiancé Peter Stewart) of Mt. Desert Island, ME; sons Arthur G. Moulin Jr. (wife Linda) of York, ME., Robert Moulin (wife Michelle) of Goffstown, NH, and William Moulin of Worcester; 9 grandchildren - Matt, Britta, Laurel, Erin, Jared, Nicole, Richelle, Shelbea, and Nanette; 7 great-grandchildren - Grace, Sophie, Quinton, Emma, Evangeline, Nigel, and Keegan; step-granddaughters - Danette, Jean, and Alena and families; and many nieces & nephews and her best friend Marilyn (husband Pete) Connery. Rita is predeceased by her husband Arthur G. Moulin, Sr., and her sister Lorraine (Brazeau) Murphy. In addition, the family would like to acknowledge her loving and caring support team - Chris and Kim at Overlook Masonic Health Center, Cathy Kimball (niece), and Linda Latour Moulin.
Rita was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Catherine (Hennessey) and William Brazeau and was a graduate of South High School. She was a member of Our Lady of the Rosary Church in Worcester. She worked as a food clerk at Sam's Club for several years and as a pool monitor at the Worcester YWCA. Rita loved the beach, ocean, and lakes and was always at her best when organizing and hosting family gatherings. She also loved to dance.
A calling hour will be held on Thursday, August 18, 2016 from 9:30-10:30 a.m. in Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln Street. A funeral Mass follow at 11:00 a.m. in Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 25 Fales Street. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery.
