Visiting Hours in the Smith Funeral Home on Tuesday from 4-8 PM. Services will conclude with interment at Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett. A career Marine Corp. Veteran with over 20 years served, Michael passed away at the West Rosbury Veterans Administration Hospital Thursday afternoon after a long illness. Born in Chelsea and a resident here until entering the Marines, when he returned he resided in Weymouth until his passing. After his service to his country he held positions at the Chelsea Soldiers Home until his retirement 10 years later. During his working years and in retirement he enjoyed cards and bowling and was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council #83 and the Mottola Post in Revere.
