Arthur F. Paquin, 70, died Monday July 18, 2016 at East Gate Nursing & Rehab in East Providence.
Born in Providence he was a son of the late Omar and Kathleen (Garrahan) Paquin. He was a resident of Providence for most of his life.
Arthur was a kind and polite man who loved people. He worked in programs at the John E. Fogarty Center and was noted for being a diligent worker in whatever he was tasked with. Arthur had a unique sense of humor and cared deeply about the feelings of other people. His love for his family and friends was unconditional.
He is survived by his brothers Joseph and Paul Paquin both of RI and George Paquin of MA, two sisters Kathleen Paquin of Maine and Alice Vaillancourt of Woonsocket. He was the brother of the late Charles and William Paquin, Mary Peloquin and Emelie Arruda. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and their families.
His Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday at 10:30 am in St. Agatha Church, Fairfield Ave. Woonsocket. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Cumberland. Visiting hours are Monday morning from 9-10 am, prior to Mass, in the Menard-Lacouture Funeral Home 127 Carrington Ave. Woonsocket. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the John E. Fogarty Center 220 Woonsaquatucket Ave. North Providence, RI. 02911.
