Lucienne F. Morande 94, died July 16, 2016 at Overlook Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was the wife of the late George Morande. Born in Woonsocket, she was a daughter of the late Adelard and Grace (Fontaine) Lambert. Lucienne worked for the former US Rubber Shop for many years, she also worked in several area textile mills.
She is survived by a great-niece Gail Lapierre, and great-nephews, Leo, Bruce, and James Lapierre, and great-great nieces and nephew, Jordan, Brittany, and Lauren Lapierre. She was predeceased by her siblings Roger Lambert, Roland Lambert, Adelard Lambert Jr., and Loretta DiBasco.
Her funeral with visitation will be held Friday at 9:00 AM from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 463 South Main St., Woonsocket, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 in St. Joseph’s Church, Mendon Rd. Woonsocket. Burial will follow in St. Charles Cemetery in Blackstone.
