Preceded in death by husband Joseph Sr. “ Whitey”, son Stephen, son-in-law David Ross, and brothers Gerald, Lawrence and Joseph “Bernie”. Ruth was a dedicated wife, homemaker, and loving mother of 7 children Joseph JR (Jody), Lloyd, Deborah Ross, Stephen, Christine (Mark) Schwartz, Katherine Smith, and Maryruth (Thomas). Mom was always there to fill in for a game of catch when needed and missed very few throws. She loved bowling, bingo, playing cards, trips to the casino, and lunches out with her children whenever possible. Her pool parties were legend. She was truly the glue that held the family together. She is survived by her 6 children, 17 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. Memorial service 10 AM, Saturday, July 23rd at CHURCH OF ST. PETER, 2600 N. Margaret St., North St. Paul, MN with a gathering 1 hour prior. Interment at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
