Crowley of Brockton Formerly of Dorchester May 21, 2002, Mary B. (Mackin) (Cotter) Crowley, 79 years. Wife of the late Phillip H. Crowley and William L. Cotter. Beloved mother of Janet M. Yannone and her husband Thomas and Gayle A. Cotter both of Brockton. Sister of Dorothea A. Miller of Braintree; Phyllis Ryan of Squantum, MA. Sister in law of Skip Ryan of Squantum, MA. Sister of the late John G. Mackin.

Funeral from The J. Frank Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Friday at 9:30 am. Funeral Mass in Our Lady Of Lourdes Church at 10:30 am. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree. Visiting Hours Thursday 4-8 pm. Donations in Mary’s memory may be made to Old Colony Hospice of Stoughton, 14 Page Terrace, Stoughton, MA 02072.

Mrs. Crowley died Tuesday at her home in Brockton after a period of failing health. Born in Dorchester, she was the daughter of the late John and Anna (Shine) Mackin.Graduate of Jeremiah Burke High School Class of 1940.

She retired from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in 1986 as a food stamp coordinator. She loved reading and enjoyed swimming at Old Silver Beach and spending time with her grandchildren.

Survived by 2 daughters Janet M. Yannone of Brocktonand Gayle A. Cotter of Brockton 3 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren 2 Sisters Dorothea A. Miller of Braintree and Phyllis Ryan of Squantum, MA A brother in law Skip Ryan of Squantum, MA many nieces and nephewsWife of the late Phillip H. Crowley and William L.
