Anna Veronica (Casieri) Perry, 91, formerly of Whitman, passed away surrounded by family on July 12 at Bay Path Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, Duxbury. She was the wife of the late Malcolm “Buzzy” Perry.
One of six children, she was the daughter of the late Mary and Francis Casieri. She was born and brought up in Brockton and was a 1944 graduate of Brockton High School. Anna (Nan) was a resident of Whitman for fifty years, where she raised her family of five children and became the loving grandmother of thirteen grandsons, one granddaughter, and 23 great grandchildren.
Throughout her life she enjoyed traveling, vacationing on Cape Cod, cooking, and, especially, spending time with her family. She loved frequent family gatherings at her home, holidays, and the Red Sox.
She is survived by her siblings R. Joseph Casieri and Gloria Thibeault of Brockton, Marie Ferreira of Whitman, and Rose Sargent of Carver; predeceased by her brother Michael Casieri; and survived by her children Susan Kent of Kingston, Mary Janice Ketchen of Whitman, Deborah Villano of Middleboro, Richard Perry of Naples, FL, and Lisa Cassani of Lakeville; grandchildren Christopher Ketchen of Walpole, Jason Ketchen of Cohasset, Kevin Kent of Northboro, Shane Kent of Franklin, Matthew Kent of Cohasset, Joel Kent of Worcester, Corey Baker of Crystal Lake, IL, Ryan Baker of Middleboro, Brandon Villano of Carver, Colby Villano of Plymouth, Tayla Villano of New Bern, NC, Kyle Poirier of Naples, Evan Cassani and Nathan Cassani, both of Lakeville; and her great grandchildren.
