69 of Louisville, passed away on Tuesday July 12, 2016. He was retired from the Louisville Fire Department and he formerly worked at the Pro Shop at Eagle Creek Golf Course, and he was a past vice-president of the Fire Fighters Union in Louisville. He was of the Catholic Faith. He was preceded in death by his father Harold Clinton Matlock, his step-father Donald Robertson. He is survived by his wife Phyllis (Cecil) Matlock, his mother Sylvia Robertson, his children; Ronald Scott Matlock (Sheri), Tim Steinemann (Rhonda) and Dawn L Starcher (Paul), grandchildren Jordan Matlock, Kaitlyn Starcher, Taylor Starcher, Keneoie Steinemann, Cooper Steinemann, Keatyn Steinemann, sister, Gail Heaverin (Tim), brother Mark Cox. Visitation will be Thursday from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Owen Funeral Home-Jeffersontown 9318 Taylorsville Rd and funeral service will be Friday at the funeral home at 1 p.m. with a private burial.
