Evan Robert Martin, age 30 of Framingham, died tragically on Saturday, July 9, 2016 at his home in Framingham. He is the son of Bill and Janet (Hooper) Martin of Framingham.
Evan was an avid Fisherman exploring many local ponds & streams using his own tied flies. He was an accomplished Hockey player in his school years in Holliston allowing him the opportunity to play in the Northeastern states, Canada and Italy. He graduated from Keefe Tech Electrical in 2003. He summered at the family cottage on Peak’s Island, ME and spent many vacations on the family boat Two Sons II. He was a member of the Hull Yacht Club. Evan was a valued employee of FM Generator in Canton as a Generator Technician/Electrician. He was previously employed by Rio Marine in Houston, TX as an electrician servicing Tug Boats.
Besides his parents, Evan leaves his adoring Grandmother Jane Hooper “NAN” of Framingham. His loving Brother Chris Martin and his wife Wendie Linton- Martin of Bellingham. He was the treasured “Uncle E” to his nieces Kylie, Erin and Mollie of Bellingham. His Uncles Bo and Candi Hooper of Tucson, AZ, Dick and Stephanie Hooper of Marlboro, Paul and Maryellen Hooper of Framingham and Aunt Barbara Martin of East Boston. His cousins Travis and his wife Jennifer, Jarrod and his wife Genevieve, Kimberly, James and Jennifer Hooper. Greg and his wife Melissa Lynch, Heather Lynch –Hennessey and Jeanne Martin of Peaks Island, ME. His dearest friends Heather Ingemi, Gary Chandler, Chris Turner and countless other close friends and family members. He was predeceased by his Grandparents Robert Hooper and Bill and Wiggy Martin.
Evan will be remembered for his passion for family and friends, his warm smile and endless wit.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral on Saturday, July 16th at 10:00 A.M. in the Chapel of the John Everett and Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park Street at Natick Common.
Visiting hours are Friday from 3:00 to 7:00 P.M.
