Obituary

The beloved husband of Suellen (Kettell) Canty of Quincy. Devoted father of Cameron & Mackenzie Canty both of Quincy. Brother of Suzanne Siciliano of Stoughton, Kelly McCadden of Norfolk, Shelby Austin of Holbrook and Shannon Canty of Norton. Son of the late Carol & Charles Canty. Son-in-law of Patricia and Thomas Kettell, Jr. of Braintree. Grandson of Leslie Thornton of Quincy. Steven is also survived by many nieces, nephews, brother & sisters in-law and many dear friends.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home 785 Hancock St., WOLLASTON Saturday at 10:30 AM.

Funeral Mass in Saint Ann's Church, Wollaston at 11:30 AM.

Visiting hours Friday 4 - 8 PM.

Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.

IN LIEU OF FLOWERS, donations in memory of Steven may be made to The Canty Childrens Scholarship Fund, c/o Quincy Credit Union, Quincy Ave, Quincy, MA 02169.

Steve grew up in Quincy - he graduated from Quincy Voc-Tech Class of 1984. He enjoyed playing the trumpet in the Drum Corp. in Quincy. After high school, Steve went to work for Boston Financial, then State Street Bank and worked briefly as a stockbroker as well. Steve also worked for Equaservices. He was also an auxillary police officer for Randolph & Quincy. He was a devoted father to his 2 children. He enjoyed golf and fishing with his co-workers.
