TAUNTON – Jacqueline M. (Rose) Marshall, wife of the late Joseph Marshall, died at Life Care Center of Raynham on July 4, 2016, following a long illness.
She was 88.
Born in Lowell, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Matilda (Fernandes) Rose. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Taunton High School in 1945. A retired receptionist, Mrs. Marshall was employed for many years by the former Aleixo, Miles, Murray & Rounds Law Firm. She was a member of the Taunton Junior Women’s Club and volunteer for ARC of Bristol County. A beloved mother and grandmother, Jacqueline was very loving and caring; and was devoted to her family.
Survivors include a son, Lawrence McClellan of Aurora, CO; a daughter, Susan Stawniak of Taunton; three grandchildren, Amber Tankersley of PA, Aaron Berthelette of NY and Heather Marshall of Taunton; two great grandchildren, Madison and Riley Tankersley of PA; and several cousins. She was also the mother of the late Scott J. Marshall and the sister of the late Fay Anderson and the late Howard Rose.
Funeral services will be held at Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Taunton on Friday, July 8th at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Mayflower Hill Cemetery.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
Calling Hours will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, July 7th from 4 to 7 p.m. and on Friday, July 8th from 9 to 10 a.m. prior to the services.
