FALL RIVER… Judith (Souza) Morrill, 75 of Fall River, formerly of New Bedford, passed away July 4, 2016 at Sarah S. Brayton Nursing Center.
Born in Dartmouth, she was a daughter of the late Manuel B.Souza Jr., and Annie (Eskow) Souza Hryciw.
Mrs. Morrill worked as a Budget Analyst at the Naval Underwater Systems Center in Newport, RI for 30 years, prior to her retirement in 1996. She enjoyed knitting, needlepoint, gardening, home decorating, cooking, watching movies and her cats.
Survivors include her daughter, Jennifer Arthur of Kissimmee, FL, her son, Christopher Tong of Aberdeen, SD, her sister, Anne Brain of Needham, MA, her brother, Robert Souza of St. Johnsville, NY, 4 grandchildren: Christopher Cleaves, Tyler Tong, Nicholas Arthur and Brittany Arthur, a great granddaughter, Kylie Cleaves, several nieces and nephews as well as her cat, Duchess.
Memorial service to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Friday at 2:45 PM at the Boyko Memorial Funeral Home, 709 Broadway Fall River. Calling hours will be from 12-2:45 PM prior to the service.
