BRIDGEWATER - Judith E. (Emmott) Caprio, 58, of Bridgewater died Tuesday, July 19, 2005, at Life Care Center of West Bridgewater after a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Anthony T. Caprio.
Born in Worcester, raised in Brockton, the daughter of Lillian J. (Gibavich) Emmott of Bridgewater, she was a longtime resident of Bridgewater.
Mrs. Caprio was a member of the Brockton Hospital Ambassador’s Club and an active member of the American Cancer Society out of Brockton Hospital.
She was also an active member of the Trinity Episcopal Church in Bridgewater and its activities.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her two children, Richard A. Caprio of Tampa, Fla., and Jennifer A. Reid and her husband Bruce of Raynham; her mother-in-law, Helen Caprio of Halifax; her granddaughter, Emily Nicole Reid; an aunt, Adele Halloran of Lucern Valley, Calif.; two nieces, Stephanie Abbondanza and Mia Wood and a nephew, Gary Cristina; and her brother-in-law and sister in-law, Frank Caprio and Tina Cristina.
A funeral Mass will be held in Trinity Episcopal Church, 91 Main St., Bridgewater, Friday at 10 a.m. Visiting hours will be in the Prophett Funeral Home, 98 Bedford St. (Rte. 18), Bridgewater, Thursday from 4-8 p.m. Burial will be in St. Thomas Aquinas Cemetery.
