NATICK: Mary M. “Honey” (Yarossi) Mossman, 82, died on Friday, July 1, 2016 at her home with her loving son Jim at her side following a brief illness.
She was born in Newton on January 2, 1934 the daughter of the late Assunta and Tony Yarossi.
She was the loving wife for 62 years of Lester Mossman. She is also survived by her children Jim and his wife Beth and Ron and his wife Renee. She was the mother of the late Janet Ahern and survived by her son-in-law Kevin Ahern. She was the grandmother of Jen, Mike, Andrew, Amanda and two great-grandchildren. Mary was the sister of Carol Gillespie, Carmie Culver, Peter Iarossi and his wife Betty, Ann MacLean, Anthoney Yarossi and his wife Cheryl, Donna MacLean and also several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. She was the sister of the late Shirley Hadley and Elaine Griffin.
Mary was raised in Newton and graduated from Our Ladies High School in Newton with the Class of 1952. She moved to Natick where she raised her family.
Visitations will be held on Thursday, July 7, 2016 from 9:00 to 10:00 AM at the John C. Bryant Funeral Home, 56 Pemberton Road (Off Rte 30), Wayland.
Her Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:30 am at Good Shepherd Parish at St. Zepherin Church, 99 Main Street, (Rte 27), Wayland.
Interment will follow in the Mossman family lot in Lakeview Cemetery in Wayland.
