Mr. Ronald J. Pacheco, of Taunton, died Thursday, June 30 in the V.A. Medical Center, Brockton, with his son at his side, following a brief illness. He was born 66 years ago in Taunton, the son of the late Joseph and Priscilla (Correia) Pacheco. He was educated in Taunton and had been a lifelong city resident. Prior to his retirement, He had been employed as a warehouse worker for New England Pottery of Taunton for over 10 years. Ronald was a U.S. Army veteran, having served during the late Vietnam Era. He was a member of the Italian Naturalization Club. He enjoyed sports, especially the Boston Red Sox and the New York Jets. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
He leaves: 1 son: Andrew Pacheco of Taunton; 1 daughter: Christine Coelho and her husband, Jeffrey of Taunton; 1 brother: Michael Pacheco and his wife, Suzette of Taunton; 3 grandchildren: Colin and Aidan Coelho, and Owen Pacheco, and several nieces and nephews. Ronald was also the brother of the late Sandra Lee Pacheco and Deborah Fuller.
Funeral services will be held from The Riendeau-Mulvey Funeral Home, 467 Bay Street, on Wednesday, July 6 at 9:00 A.M. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow in St. Jude the Apostle Church at 10:00 A.M. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting Hours will be held on Tuesday, from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M.
